Day 1 of 45Kind: Ditch the To-Do List!

Today is the day - DAY 1 of 45Kind, a 45-day commitment to be kinder and more self-compassionate...to yourself!

I couldn't be more excited (and, to be honest, a little uncomfortable!) kicking this off.  45Kind is my passion project, and it feels pretty personal.

Like many of you, I have been on my own personal and professional growth journey, and just like many of you, I have had to work hard to let go of all the ways I live small, put others first and apologize for not living to my full potential.

I am stepping into this uncomfortable place where I share more about my own journey and how self-compassion and intentional kindness have led me to a life that isn’t always easy but certainly comes with more EASE.

I made the shift & elevated my focus on all aspects of my life, and I can show you how, too.

This is why I created 45Kind - a personal mindset challenge focused on the daily practice of self-compassion and self-kindness!  And for the next 45 days, we will be on this journey together as I demonstrate supportive habits and daily practices that demonstrated graceself-compassion, and kindness.

It is time to give yourself a little grace, let go of the perfectionism, transform that negative self-talk and accelerate your goals toward your ONE beautiful and meaningful life.

So...Day 1 of 45Kind is a great day to ditch the to-do list. I am notorious for making lists of all the things that I know I will never be able to complete in a day.  Instead, today I am going to focus on 3 priorities:

  1. Getting my 10,000 steps in for the day
  2. Reconnecting with dear friends that are actually coming into town to visit
  3. Reflecting on my work accomplishments from the week

That’s it! At the end of the day, I will feel more in control and connected to all areas of my life - health, relationships, and work.
