As a Mom, wife and especially as a leader, I spent so many years "in my head". Thinking, overthinking, anxious about making the right decisions, worried about saying the perfect thing and how others would respond.
If you imagine an open road, I was going through life with tunnel vision. Closed in by the limiting beliefs I had and the concern of what others expected of me.
I made it work, but it wasn't always fun...or meaningful, or fulfilling.
It wasn't until I worked on what was holding me back and intentionally built up my confidence that I was able to fully embrace where my heart was leading me and fully experience alignment in my head and my heart.
Getting out of your head and listening to your heart is a great act of self-compassion.
Did you know your body can tell you what it needs? You just have to sit long enough to listen.
For Day 15, try sitting in a quiet, private spot, put your hand on your heart and just listen. Be present, aware, and listen for any needs that pop up. 💜
